Coregistration notes

These crosses were pre-exposed on the film before it was loaded onto the cameras. They were intended to be used to correct the image for distortion. Unfortunately, this means the camera didn't record any light from the lunar surface at those locations. If we were to remove the reseau crosses from the images, we wouldn't know what to put in their place.
